Texas3006.com nor the Texas3006 mobile apps will never release your email address or any other private personally identifiable information about you for any reason unless directed by a court of law.

Account

When you create an account with us, we collect the following information:

Email Address is used to uniquely identify your account in our back-end systems. It may also be used to notify you about new entry notifications, additional comment notifications, and notifications about website upgrades. You may also opt out of these notifications via the website or mobile apps.

Providing your Zip Code is optional. Zip code allows us to send you new entry notifications in your general area. You may also opt out of these notifications via the website or mobile apps.

Mobile Apps: Analytics

The App Store, Google Play and Google Analytics collects basic information such as, but not limited to, the following:

Mobile Apps: Crash Reporting

The mobile apps may collect basic information such as, but not limited to, the following:

Mobile Apps: Location

You may optionally choose to share your location with the mobile applications. If you choose to share your location, the mobile apps may request your location when the app is running or while the app is running in the background.

Texas3006.com never shares your location with any 3rd parties, nor do we actively collect and store your location data.

Zip Code is optional (see Account) and GPS data is never stored on our servers.

Foreground Location. We use your location to show you which businesses near you may be posting 30.06, 30.07, etc signs while you are actively using the app. In addition, we also sort search results by the businesses that are closest to your location. We feel this sort order is more useful to our users who choose to share their location with the app.

Background Location. The app may request your location while the application is currently not active in the foreground (i.e. running in the background). Background location is required for the "Proximity Alerts" feature to work. The "Proximity Alerts" feature is based on geofencing. As you travel, the app can detect if you are approaching a business that is posting a 30.06, 30.07, etc sign and will notifiy you that you are approaching this business. This allows you to make an informed decision on whether or not you should enter this business. Background location is optional and may be disabled at any time. However, "Proximity Alerts" will not work without this permission.
